Eligibility

The eligibility of Niradhar Vrudh Sahay Yojana is as follows.

The age of the applicant beneficiary should be 60 (60) years or more.
The applicant should not have a son aged 21 years or above.
If the beneficiary’s son is 21 years old (adult) but mentally unstable or suffering from a serious illness like cancer, TB, then the destitute elderly are eligible to avail the benefit of the financial assistance scheme of the state government.
The annual income of the beneficiary should not exceed 150,000 (one and a half lakh rupees) for urban area and 120,000 (one lakh twenty thousand) for rural area.
Beneficiary should have resided permanently in the State of Gujarat for at least 10 (ten) years.
