Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Directorate General Border Security Force (BSF) has advertised a Notification for the Recruitment of Head Constable (Radio Operator) & Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) Vacancies in Group C on Temporary Basis. • Head Constable (Radio Operator) : 300 Posts (Gen-269,EWS-31, Rest All Categories-Nil)
• Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) : 772 Posts (Gen-349,EWS-54,OBC-151,SC-146,ST-72)

Educational Qualification Details:

Head Constable (Radio Operator): 

• Candidates who have passed Matriculation Level of Examination along with having ITI Certification in Radio & Television / Electronics / Computer Operator and Programming Assistant / Data Preparation and Computer Software / General Electronics / Data Entry Operator from Recognized Institute.
•  OR Candidates who have passed Intermediate (Class 12th) Level of Examination with PCM Group and Scored Minimum 60% Marks from any Recognized Board / University / Institution will be Eligible for this Post.

Head Constable (Radio Mechanic):

• Candidates who have passed Matriculation Level of Examination along with having ITI Certification in Radio & Television / Electronics / Computer Operator and Programming Assistant / Data Preparation and Computer Software /Electrician / Fitter / Info Technology / Electronics System Maintenance / Equivalent Trade from any  Recognized Institute.
•  OR Candidates who have passed Intermediate (Class 12th) Level of Examination with PCM Group and Scored Minimum 60% Marks from any Recognized Board / University / Institution will be Eligible for this Post.

Age Limit:

• Minimum 18 Years
• Maximum 25 Years
• Age Relaxation as per Rules.

Physical Standers:

• Height - 168 cms (Male), 157 cms (Female)
• Chest -80-85 cms (Male)

PET Parameters:

• Running - 1.6 KM in 6.5 Minutes (Male), 800 Meters in 4 Minutes (Female)
• Long Jump - 3.6 Meter in 3 Chance (Male), 9 Feet in 3 Chance (Female)
• High Jump - 1.2 Meter in 3 Chance (Male), 3 Feet in 3 Chance (Female)

Pay Scale:

• Rs. 25,000/- to Rs. 81,100/-
